REGNO
& SAGO
two bespoke designs made for 2 Michelin-star restaurant Ralf Berendsen in the beautiful 5 star superior hotel La Butte aux Bois.
This pair of reading glasses consists of two models: one for men called “REGNO” and one for women named “SAGO.”
The name REGNO, meaning "kingdom" in Italian, symbolizes the kitchen where chef Ralf Berendsen reigns over his culinary domain. SAGO is inspired by the word 'sage,' which means the herb often used in cooking and plays an important role in the culinary process. Additionally, the initials of the model names refer to Ralf Berendsen and his maître d'hôtel, Soumia Chouaf, giving the glasses an extra personal touch.
Available in dioptry +1.00, +2.00 and +3.00, feature a subtle detail that alludes to the restaurant’s star status: the number of small stars on the arms of the glasses indicates the lens dioptry. This creative concept is a sophisticated nod to the Michelin stars and hints at a promising future.
These custom-made glasses not only make an aesthetic statement but also offer a practical solution for the restaurant’s guests.

derived from ‘supreme’ and ‘the most high’, this frame embodies a design beyond bespoke eyewear.
Elyon is created for the strong, powerful, and the individuals which identify themselves with masculine energy. Yin - Yang, also women possess a masculine energy within them.
These glasses symbolize more than just a frame with a double bridge - they embody the connection, the physical ‘bridge’ between the brains’s hemispheres, the logical & emotional or the ‘spiritual’ bridge between conscious thoughts & intuition.
At its core, Elyon features a robust 6mm wide aluminum frame that elevates high-quality acetate black spheres, creating a balanced fusion of materials. The distinctive double bridge, extending into arrow-like tips at the corners, hints at a forward momentum and purpose.
