OSCILLA is derived from the Latin word “Oscillum” (plural: oscilla),
which means “little face” or “little mask.”
These were small hanging objects often masks or faces,
used in ancient Roman religious rituals, gently swaying in the wind,
symbolizing movement and transition.
This subtle back-and-forth motion is echoed in the elegant swirls
of the pendant and eyewear design.
Starting always with a 2D sketch to define the lines of the design and to improve. The next step is to transform the 2D into a 3D model to enable the design process for hidden difficulties or opportunities to elevate the design even more. A 3D printed model and adding the sizes of the gemstone and natural diamonds, makes it easier to have the overall look and feel before crafting the piece.
