The spectacles, adorned with Muonionalusta Meteorite, are crafted with unparalleled expertise, 95% of which is meticulously fashioned in Belgium, where careful craftsmanship is an essential component. Its frame and intricate details are composed of aluminum typically utilized in the construction of fighter jets, resulting in unparalleled lightweight wearability. The meteorite itself is processed beyond the borders of Belgium, while the high-quality diamonds originate from Antwerp's renowned diamond sector and are set by Antwerp's premier workshop.

A Muonionalusta Meteorite belongs to the group of iron meteorites in the category of Octahedrite - type IVA. (This is a class within iron meteorites and they are classified based on their structure). It was first discovered in Northern Scandinavia in Kitkiojoki, Sweden in 1906, but is believed to have crashed one million years ago, making it the oldest meteorite ever found on Earth. Over the years, more and more fragments have been found within a perimeter of approximately 20km2. This explains how the meteorite disintegrated several kilometers above the Earth's surface.

The name Muonionalusta originates from the discovery site Muonionalusta, a combination of "Muonio" and "Alusta," Finnish for "possessive particle" and "a place below."

This meteorite was formed during its descent to Earth, meaning by the intense heat caused by the atmosphere and its slow cooling process on Earth.

It's not uncommon to discover gemstones in meteorites, such as peridot and even diamonds. The gradual cooling process led to the well-defined Widmanstätten pattern, which renders the meteorite exceptionally unique. But the meteorite itself is millions of years older. It used to drift in space. It is believed that this iron meteorite is composed of the same material as the Earth's core. In other words, this fragment of the meteorite is as ancient as the universe itself.
